Good News – We are a Nation of Immigrants
Each month in A Line of Sight we feature a Good News story in part because there is certainly enough of the other kind of news out there, and also because we believe that the many great things done by very good people deserve attention, too. This May issue has articles addressing the problem of illegal immigration in the United States, but as we all know, America is a nation of legal immigrants that have contributed greatly to our culture and our heritage.

Tea Party has a Birthday
Rick Santelli’s rant from the floor of the Mercantile Mart in Chicago broadcast live on CNBC on February 19, 2009 is commonly credited as the catalytic event that gave birth to a groundswell of citizen activism broadly described as the Tea Party Movement. This month, the Tea Party celebrated its first birthday. And, we think that is very Good News.
Good News: A Christmas Miracle: “The Hand of God”
On the morning of Christmas Eve, Tracy Hermanstorfer was in labor with her third child at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs with her husband Mike at her bedside. They had no idea how unusually special this Christmas baby would be.
