Jake Allen, Contributing Editor

Jake Allen has served as President of Centennial Strategies, a strategic management consulting company, since its inception in July 2010. Prior to this he served as the Manager of Government Relations for Denver Health and Hospital Authority, where he was responsible for the organization’s state lobbying efforts and assisted with the federal and local government relations efforts. Prior to joining Denver Health, Jake was the Executive Director of the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.

Jake served as a legislative assistant to two members of Congress from 2003-2007. He began his work on Capitol Hill with Congressman Scott McInnis (CO-03) before moving to the office of Congressman Bob Beauprez (CO-07) upon McInnis’ retirement in 2004. Both members sat on the influential Ways and Means committee, charged with oversight of health care, human resources, taxes, trade and social security policy.

Jake resides in Basalt, CO with his wife, Brooke, and their daughter, Livia.
