After 60 years of failed attempts to deliver on the fantasy of reduced costs and improved access and quality through socialized health care, the British are throwing up their hands in defeat.  According to the New York Times, the Brits are doing an about-face and moving to “decentralize” the government run system that was the oft praised model by the proponents of ObamaCare.

 Unelected members of the United States Senate are greatly impacting the course of America.  In the last 18 months Congress has approved $2 trillion of new spending and passed several transformational pieces of legislation that will dramatically change the health care and financial services industries, as well as greatly expand the power of the federal government.

The government’s own watchdog assigned to keep and eye on the financial bailouts puts the running total now at $3.7 trillion, and it has happened “largely without congressional action.”

In community parks, main street parades, and in backyards, Americans celebrated our nation’s 234th birthday on July 4.  Many were affiliated with groups – scouts, veterans, 4-H clubs, civic organizations, elected officials, candidates, etc. – including the still growing number of concerned citizens broadly referred to as members of the Tea Party.
