Fox News is reporting that this afternoon Barack Obama is going to kill the Keystone Pipeline Project. This stands in direct opposition to a president who says he is committed to domestic energy production, energy independence, job creation, and economic recovery. As we've said before, his actions speak louder than his words. In fact, in direct contrast to his words. The Keystone Pipeline would have been a great boost for the American economy. "What precedent is this administration setting by tapping into the reserves at a time of ongoing unrest in the Middle East and seemingly sustained high oil prices?"

Here is my answer:

Precedence?  You ask what precedent the administration is setting by tapping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for only the third time in our nation's history?  I'll tell you.  They are setting a precedent as easily the most blatantly political administration ever in American history.
